With all our partners we are pursuing projects in the area of German as a Foreign Language („Deutsch als Fremdsprache“ or DaF). These projects are generally accompanied by an annual exchange of teachers.

FaDaF e.V. Network

IfS Kassel is a member of the Association for German as a Foreign Language („Fachverband Deutsch als Fremdsprache“, > FaDaF e.V.) FaDaF represents the interests of a variety of institutions involved in the area of German as a Foreign Language, both in research and teaching. FaDaF's goal is to contribute to intercultural understanding through promoting German language acquisition. FaDaF therefore supports the linguistic advancement of foreign students studying in Germany as well as the further development and training of teaching staff and young academics in the area of German as a foreign language.
