English and Business English
The IfS offers English language courses at five different levels:
A - Beginner (Basic Level 1)
B - Pre-Intermediate (Basic Level 2)
C - Intermediate (Basic Level 3)
D - Intermediate / Upper Intermediate (Intermediate Level 1)
E - Upper Intermediate (Intermediate Level 2)
Business English is an integral part of this programme. We also offer students the opportunity to learn specialist Business English at Intermediate level.
There is an assessment test before participants start the course, allowing us to ensure that they are placed in the appropriate course for their level of proficiency.
The courses give candidates the opportunity to prepare for exams that qualify them for proficiency certificates. The IfS is a licensed examination centre for The European Language Certificates (TELC).
Teaching takes place in two half-yearly terms; terms start in August / September and in February.
